Electronic Prescription Service
The Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) is a NHS service that allows us to send your prescription(s) directly to your chosen pharmacy. This paper-free prescription service means that you do not have to come into the surgery to collect your prescription.
All patients will need to select a pharmacy to have their prescriptions sent to electronically as paper prescriptions will no longer be produced.
Please use this form, contact the surgery or your chosen pharmacy directly to nominate a pharmacy. You can also do this via the NHS App
You can change your nominated pharmacy at any time.
Please find more information here: Changes to the prescription process
Electronic Repeat dispensing
eRD (Electronic Repeat dispensing) allows your GP to send a series of repeat prescriptions to your pharmacy in one go, so there’s no need for you to order them each time. It’s reliable, secure and confidential. Your regular prescriptions are stored securely on the NHS database, so they’ll be ready at the pharmacy each time you need them.
This will mean that your pharmacist will hold multiple issues prescriptions in reserve until they are required.
Once a batch has been created we will message you with the dates the prescriptions will become available for collection
Please speak to your pharmacy for any further advice regarding collection.
