Referrals and Hospital Appointments

Once your GP has referred you to a hospital or specialist service, the responsibility for reviewing the referral, booking appointments, and managing waiting times sits with that organisation.

Our GP medical secretaries are unable to chase referrals or hospital appointments on your behalf.

If you have not heard from the hospital or are concerned about waiting times, please contact the service directly. This will allow you to receive the most up-to-date information about your referral.
