Extended access
Appointments with GPs, Nurses, Health Care Assistants, pharmacists and first contact physio’s are now available within our extended access service.
This service operates 6:30pm to 8pm Monday to Friday and between 9am to 5pm Saturday in conjunction with our Primary care network.
These appointments may not at the Maples but at another PCN Practice or by telephone. Please speak to our patient care services team for more information and availability.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Accessibility and parking
Automatic doors are installed at the main entrance
There is access to the surgery by wheelchair and a lift is provided, but if you need further assistance do let reception know.
All toilet facilities are suitable for disabled patients and have baby changing facilities.
Accessible car parking spaces are specifically available for disabled patients and access from the car park is available if required through the door in the car park. The buzzer will need to pressed speak to a member of staff to release this door.
A hearing loop is available at the reception desk.
Some patient care service staff able to communicate by BSL and Makaton.
A “quiet waiting room” for patients with sensory issues can often be provided. Please enquire on checking in .
