Urgent Treatment Centre’s

An urgent Treatment centre, (UTC), is a place to seek medical help for minor injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening including

  • Minor injuries, such as cuts, grazes, sprains, and strains
  • Minor illnesses, such as coughs, colds, ear and throat infections, and skin infections
  • Minor head injuries
  • Minor burns and scalds
  • Insect and animal bites
  • Minor eye injuries
  • Minor back injuries
  • Emergency contraception
  • Urine infections
  • Raised temperature/

You can call NHS 111 to book an appointment or to find out if a UTC is the right place to go . You can walk into a UTC without an appointment
