An urgent Treatment centre, (UTC), is a place to seek medical help for minor injuries and illnesses that are not life-threatening including
- Minor injuries, such as cuts, grazes, sprains, and strains
- Minor illnesses, such as coughs, colds, ear and throat infections, and skin infections
- Minor head injuries
- Minor burns and scalds
- Insect and animal bites
- Minor eye injuries
- Minor back injuries
- Emergency contraception
- Urine infections
- Raised temperature/
You can call NHS 111 to book an appointment or to find out if a UTC is the right place to go . You can walk into a UTC without an appointment
